Our fabulous cafe and facilities building

The boathouse finally opened on 1 December, 2017. The boathouse was initially designed to provide toilets, showers and disabled facilities for boaters, however, once it began to take shape, it became abundantly clear that it would be criminal not to open it as a cafe for people out and about enjoying the River Nene and surrounding Nene Valley.

We serve a fantastic range of freshly prepared food made by our talented team and are told our coffee is second to none! Come and try it and watch the world go by.

Whatever the weather or whatever the time of day it is, there is always something to sit back and admire, from watching the fluffy white clouds dance above beautiful Whiston church high up on the hill in the distance, or simply watching the narrowboats going about their business on the marina.
