Earls Barton

Earls Barton is the biggest village along Northamptonshire's River Nene and offers an array of facilities including a butchers, a Co-op, two pubs, a micro brewery, Ruby and Claret wine shop/tasting venue, Indian restaurant, takeaways, as well as Jeyes of Earls Barton, the award winning pharmacy and home of the Earls Barton museum, gift shop, dolly lodge and coffee shop. And if that is not enough, be prepared to be blown away - Earls Barton even has its own vineyard, New Lodge Vineyard. We certainly have it all!

There are several hairdressers and beauty salons, two doctors surgeries, an optician and private dentist, the well known Barkers factory shop, a popular vintage shop, as well as a Post Office, library and newsagents.

The village even boasts its own publications: there is the popular paid for Tower Magazine costing 50p, which was first published in the early 1970s and is available from the White Mills office and the free monthly magazine Barton Today, to keep you up to date with the numerous activities that go on in this lively community.

For visitors to the marina who enjoy amateur dramatics, the Under The Tower Drama  (UTTD) group will not disappoint. A NODA award-winning society UTTD is also over 40 years old and holds two or three productions in the Church Hall every year.

There really is something for everyone, and it is well worth a visit.
