And suddenly we are on winter opening hours

And suddenly our hours in the office have been reduced by two whole hours a day as we go into our Winter hours. Where on earth did the seven months of longer office hours go to?

It is amazing when you shorten your working day, just how quickly the time flies by - not that any of us will be complaining mind you! Its jolly nice to have that extra half hour in the morning and the additional hour and a half in the evening.

It has been a busy old time over the past few days,. We have had a new floor laid the office which does look really fabulous; and gave us the chance to have a good old change round. We look so organised and tidy!

We have also taken delivery of a new coal bunker which should be in situ tomorrow, so that is another box ticked. Carrie and her team in the boathouse have been really busy too what with half term and arranging all sorts of activities, including a bon fire party on Saturday, and a Harry Potter supper club at the end of the Month. as well as all the usual Halloween activities. I must admit there is a sort of excitement amongst the boathouse team at the moment as they definitely seem to have Christmas in their sights……. so watch this space.

So please don’t forget as from tomorrow we are taking it easier for the Winter and will only be open from 9am - 4pm and of course as ever CLOSED on a Tuesday.
