Happy New Year Folks! Have we got some great news for you!

We are so delighted to be able to report that we now have our public access defibrillator installed and up and running - which is absolutely fantastic news.

What has been totally amazing about this entire fund raiser, is that our boaters really got behind it, dug deep and helped us to raise enough money in just nine months! We cannot thank our supporters enough for their generosity especially John and Elly Ryan of Ryan Plastics who donated the final amount to push us past our target and enable us to place the order!

So there we have it, our community public access defibrillator situated at the entrance of the marina on the palisade fence is now ready to use should someone need it urgently. And with the increasing number of visitors to our stretch of the River Nene, the timing could not have been better. So thank you.

If you find yourself in a situation when you need to access the defib, then please call 999 immediately and they will give you the code to open up the box so you can begin using it.
