Under starters orders

So at last we can begin to look forward to the Summer! We all know it will be a different sort of Summer, but at least we will be able to start enjoying what will become the new normal for the time being anyway. Opening our doors and gates cannot come soon enough now to be honest.

As from Saturday 4th July, 2020 , not only will we be welcoming overnight moorers to the marina, but we are allowed to welcome campers to our Certificated Camping and Caravanning Club site and customers to our award winning cafe The boathouse.

We know that Carrie, Sam and their small team are really relishing the challenge of serving top notch food to customers in the safest environment possible whilst adhering to the Governments strict guide lines.

At this stage we are not sure whether people will hopping, skipping and jumping back to the boathouse or not, so it will be interesting to see how things will pan out. We have just taken delivery of a number of new benches just in case there is a rush!

Fingers crossed that everything goes according to plan in the run up to our reopening and we look forward to welcoming old friends and new, whether they arrive by boat, by camper, by bicycle or on foot.
