Coffee time!

Goodness - it really honestly and truly does not seem like nearly 12 months since we hosted our most successful Macmillan coffee morning ever! And today I found myself once again collecting raffle prizes and putting together a poster to promote the forthcoming most popular coffee morning in the world! I can’t believe it, where has that time gone? Amazing!

Last year our coffee morning smashed the previous year’s target and raised a fabulous £790, so this year wouldn’t it be absolutely wonderful if on Friday 24th September we could reach £1000? To do this we clearly need everyone’s help. It is always totally overwhelming how generous people are when it comes to giving to Macmillan; it seems to be a part of people’s DNA to actually donate as much as possible for such a worthy and much loved cause.

We have hosted a Macmillan coffee morning ever since the marina opened in April 2016. Our year would not be complete if we did not continue the tradition. So make a note in your diaries, and pop in on Friday 24th September between 10am and 2pm! All donations of cakes or raffle prizes would be much appreciated. Please help to make our day the most memorable yet. Thank you!
