Ebb and flow of marina life

It is just incredible, the last time I wrote a blog was over 3 months ago, and look where we are today - daffodils abound, clocks going forward tomorrow, Easter on the horizon and the marina’s 7th Birthday. looming. Its hard to really believe that the marina has been operating for Seven years; it just seems like yesterday when we were welcoming the first boat!

The marina is certainly looking very full; once the River is completely up and running with all the winter works having been completed - our winter moorers will be heading off to continue their tour of the waterways, no sooner will they have vacated their berths, then we will be welcoming new boats. - so it is a time of change.. The ebb and flow of marina life continues.

Talking of change, we are currently looking for a new Marina/Operations Manager to replace Gary who has sadly decided the time has come to retire. Gary has been a hugely valued member of our team, and helped no end in assisting us to establish White Mills and develop it into the award winning marina that we are hugely proud of. With change being very much the theme we have four boats now available for sale - these are all with our brokerage partner Boatfinder Brokerage. Details of the boats can be found on the brokerage section of this website. Each boat is totally different, and each one has been loved by its current owners. Finally 1st May is not far away now which is when our office hours change to summer opening hours 8.30 - 5.30 and our Certificated Camping and Caravanning Club site officially opens once again… Lets hope this Summer will be one to remember, lovely long balmy summer days, country walks, carefree cruising, paddling, kayaking and swimming. picnicing and camping…… bliss.
