Cruising waterways proving popular

There certainly seems to be a change in the wind as people begin to think about swapping long haul holidays to long, sedate and truly relaxing holidays aboard a narrowboat. And with holidays abroad looking out of reach at least until a vaccine for Covid-19 has been created, then buying a narrowboat and using it to explore, experience and enjoy the 4,700 miles of navigable inland waterways is looking very appealing indeed - infact, you might say very 2020!

And actually as Europe lifts restrictions to visitors from abroad then there is nothing to stop the more intrepid boaters from taking their boats across the channel to explore the endless, beautiful 37,000 kilometres of waterways across Europe which connect hundreds of cities and industrial regions.

So if you are one of those currently contemplating your holiday plans and are worried about self isolating and social distancing then owning your own boat would be the perfection solution, surrounded by different stunning views daily, and of course when our world is back to the new normal - then you will have something tangible to sell at the end too, well, that is of course, if you haven’t been totally hooked by boating.
