Boathouse blitz

Over the past couple of weeks the boathouse has been a real hive of activity - not only did Jackie and Paul Richards roll up their sleeves, jump aboard a tower and paint all of the exterior woodwork but they also did a cracking job this week of painting all the block work in a rather gorgeous pale grey. And if that was not enough for one building to endure, at the beginning of

lock down Operations Manager Gary Butcher also rolled up his sleeves to sand and varnish all the doors and windows on the inside so they look like new. Then finally today it was just the finishing touches to the decking that needed to be done for mission boathouse to be accomplished. So high fives all round! We have done it!

All we are waiting for now is to hear from Boris and his merry advisors as to what the next steps are for cafes to safely open back up for business. Believe you me, it really cannot come soon enough. #missingourcustomers
